Welcome to my Heal Your Life Coaching musings, fellow intuitive. First, grab a cuppa and settle in—we’re about to have one of those conversations that feels like a warm hug and a gentle nudge all at once.
You know that moment when you’re rushing around, ticking boxes, being brilliantly capable (as usual), and suddenly you pause? Perhaps it’s whilst making your third cup of tea that’s gone cold, or maybe whilst standing in your garden watching the birds. In that pause, something whispers: “There’s more.”
I had one of those moments recently. Actually, let me be honest—I’ve had about a thousand of them over the years. However, the difference now is that I’ve learned to listen rather than immediately reaching for my to-do list to drown out the whisper!
Here’s what I’ve discovered about us accomplished, intuitive women through my healing coaching practice: we’re absolutely brilliant at hearing our inner wisdom when it comes to everyone else. For instance, your friend calls in crisis? You know exactly what she needs to hear. Similarly, your colleague is stuck? You can see her solution clearly. Likewise, your children need guidance? Your wisdom flows effortlessly.
But when it comes to ourselves? Suddenly that same inner voice becomes background noise we’re too busy to properly hear.
I remember a client from many years ago—let’s call her Sarah—who came to me for Heal Your Life coaching after achieving everything she thought she wanted. In fact, she had a beautiful family, meaningful career, and lovely home. Yet she felt this persistent sense that something was missing. “I should be grateful,” she kept saying. “After all, I have everything I wanted.”
But here’s the thing about “should”—it’s often the first clue that we’re living someone else’s definition of success rather than our own.
During our intuitive life coaching work together, Sarah discovered that her inner voice hadn’t been whispering at all—it had been shouting. Instead, she’d just become so used to the noise of external expectations that she’d learned to ignore her own deep inner knowing.
Surprisingly, the transformation wasn’t dramatic fireworks. Rather, it was more like watching a flower bloom—gentle, natural, absolutely beautiful. Gradually, she began trusting herself in small ways first. For example, she started saying no to commitments that drained her. Additionally, she chose rest over productivity sometimes. Furthermore, she followed curiosities that had nothing to do with being “useful.”
And do you know what happened? Everything she’d been striving for—the joy, the authentic relationships, the sense of purpose—began flowing naturally. Not because she was pushing harder, but because she finally had space to receive what was already trying to reach her.
This is what I see again and again in my Heal Your Life coaching practice, workshops and retreats. Women who think they need more strategies, more doing, more achieving. However, what they actually need is more being. More listening. More trusting of the wisdom that’s been there all along.
The principles of intuitive life coaching recognise this fundamental truth: you already have everything you need within you. As Louise Hay taught us, our inner guidance system is perfectly designed to lead us toward what serves our highest good.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “This is describing me,” then welcome to the cosmos of women ready for something deeper. You’re not broken. You don’t need fixing. Instead, you need reconnecting—to yourself, your inner wisdom, and the woman you’ve always known you could become.
The beautiful thing about this journey is that you don’t have to walk it alone. In fact, some of the most profound shifts happen in community, surrounded by other women who understand this call to something more. This is why I offer both individual coaching sessions and group workshops for women ready to embrace their inner knowing.
Heal Your Life coaching differs from traditional coaching because it honours your inner wisdom as the primary source of guidance. Rather than imposing external strategies, we create space for your authentic truth to emerge and guide your next steps.
So here’s my gentle invitation: next time you have one of those pause moments, don’t immediately fill the space. Instead, sit with it. Let that whisper become a conversation. Your inner wisdom has been patiently waiting, and she has so much to share with you.
What is your inner voice trying to tell you today? I’d love to hear about your pause moments. Let’s create a space where we can support each other in listening more deeply.
If this resonates and you’re curious about diving deeper, book an Inner Clarity Call. Sometimes we need a gentle witness to help us hear our own wisdom more clearly.
For more insights on trusting your intuition, I recommend exploring the work of Wayne Dyer and Esther and Jerry Hicks (Abraham), more brilliant teachers who understand the power of inner guidance.
